Strathwell Dale Renovation Project

The Ordnance survey map of 1866 shows the removal of the large outbuildings associated with Bradings (Fig. 7)

The title deeds of the property include a plan from the 1960s, just before it was sold to Stotesbury and company limited in 1963. (Fig.8) at this time the property’s name is recorded as Strathwell Dairy, and owned by Mr Russell. Stotesbury’s consequently, sold the land to developers, and the outbuildings were demolished. The property was sold on with just the garden to the new buyers; Mr and Mrs Barton. (Private collection)
